This Payment Policy explains all accepted payment methods, how your payments are processed and secured, what happens in the event of a payment failure or dispute, and your rights as a consumer under applicable Indian payment and consumer protection laws. Puroque accepts a wide range of payment methods to make your checkout experience as convenient as possible. All online payments are processed securely through PayU India, a leading RBI-regulated payment gateway. We currently accept the following payment methods:
Credit Cards & Debit Cards
We accept all major credit and debit cards issued by Indian and international banks. The following card networks are supported:
Includes Visa, Mastercard, RuPay, American Express, Diners Club, and Maestro debit and credit cards. Both domestic and international cards are accepted where supported by your card issuer.
UPI — Unified Payments Interface
Pay instantly and securely using your UPI-linked bank account. UPI is a real-time payment system developed by the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI). You can pay using any UPI-enabled app on your mobile device.
Net Banking (NB)
Pay directly from your bank account using your bank's internet banking portal. This option is available for over 50 major Indian banks through PayU's secure net banking integration. Upon selecting net banking, you will be redirected to your bank's official login page to authorise the payment.
Digital Wallets
Pay using your preferred digital wallet for a fast, one-tap checkout experience. The following wallets are accepted through our PayU integration:
Buy Now Pay Later (BNPL)
Shop now and pay later using eligible BNPL options available through PayU India. These services allow you to receive your order now and pay over a short period, often interest-free, depending on the provider and tenure selected. Eligibility for BNPL options is determined by the respective provider and is not guaranteed for all customers.
Note: BNPL credit decisions, terms, interest rates, and late payment conditions are set independently by the respective BNPL providers. Puroque is not responsible for any agreements, charges, or disputes between you and your chosen BNPL provider. Please review the provider's terms before selecting this option.
Cash on Delivery (COD)
Pay with cash at the time your order is delivered to your doorstep. No advance payment is required. Our delivery partner will collect the exact order amount in cash upon successful delivery. COD is a convenient option if you prefer not to make online payments. Please have the exact amount ready at the time of delivery as our delivery partners may not always carry change.
Payment Gateway and Security
All online payments on puroque.com are processed through PayU India (operated by PayU Payments Private Limited), one of India's most trusted and widely used payment gateways. PayU is authorised by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) as a Payment Aggregator and operates in full compliance with RBI's Payment Aggregator and Payment Gateway guidelines issued in 2020.
When you initiate a payment on puroque.com, you are redirected to a secure, encrypted payment page hosted by PayU. Your payment details — including card numbers, CVV, UPI PIN, and banking credentials — are entered directly on PayU's secure environment and are never transmitted to or stored on Puroque's servers.

Important: Puroque will never ask you for your card number, CVV, UPI PIN, OTP, or net banking password through email, phone, WhatsApp, or any other channel. If you receive any such request claiming to be from Puroque, please do not share any information and report it to us immediately at support@puroque.com.
Pricing, Taxes, and GST
All prices displayed on puroque.com are listed in Indian Rupees (INR) and are inclusive of all applicable Goods and Services Tax (GST) unless explicitly stated otherwise. You will never be charged more than the price shown on the product page at the time of placing your order.
Roziyo Trading Private Limited is a GST-registered business with GSTIN 09AAKCR0819D1ZG under the Integrated Goods and Services Tax (IGST) and Central Goods and Services Tax (CGST) Acts. A valid GST invoice will be issued for every purchase made on puroque.com and will be sent to your registered email address.
Shipping charges, if applicable, will be clearly shown as a separate line item before you confirm your order at checkout. We do not add any hidden fees, surcharges, convenience fees, or payment processing fees to your order. The amount you see at checkout is exactly what you will pay.

Order Confirmation and Payment Verification
Once your payment is successfully processed, you will receive an Order Confirmation email at your registered email address within a few minutes. This email will include your order number, a summary of items ordered, the total amount charged, the delivery address, and an estimated delivery window.
Your order enters processing only after successful payment confirmation is received from PayU. In some cases, our team may carry out additional verification checks for security purposes, particularly for high-value orders or orders flagged for unusual activity. We may contact you via your registered email or phone number to complete verification. Orders that cannot be verified may be cancelled and fully refunded.
If you do not receive an order confirmation email within 30 minutes of completing payment, please check your spam or junk folder first. If it is still not found, contact us at support@puroque.com with your payment transaction ID and we will resolve it promptly.
Cash on Delivery (COD) — Detailed Policy
Cash on Delivery (COD) is available for eligible orders and pin codes across India. When you select COD at checkout, no payment is charged at the time of placing the order. Payment is collected in cash by our delivery partner at the time of delivery.
COD Terms and Conditions:
- COD is available only for deliverable pin codes as determined by our logistics partners at the time of checkout. If COD is not available for your pin code, this option will not be shown during checkout.
- Please have the exact amount ready at the time of delivery. Our delivery partners may not always carry change. We will communicate the exact order amount in your order confirmation email.
- COD orders are subject to a verification call from our team before dispatch to confirm the order and delivery details. Orders that cannot be reached or verified may not be dispatched.
- Repeated refusal of COD orders at the time of delivery may result in COD access being restricted for your account in future orders.
- COD orders cannot be modified after dispatch. If you wish to cancel a COD order, please do so before it is dispatched by contacting us at support@puroque.com.
- In the event of a return or refund for a COD order, the refund amount will be transferred to your bank account or UPI ID. No cash refunds are issued. You will need to provide your bank account details or UPI ID when requested by our support team during the return process.
COD Refunds: Since no online payment is collected for COD orders, refunds for valid COD returns will be processed as a bank transfer (NEFT/IMPS) or UPI payment to the details you provide to us. Refunds for COD orders will be initiated within 5 to 7 business days of the return being received and inspected at our facility.
Payment Failure
Payment failures can occur for a number of reasons, including insufficient balance, incorrect card details, bank-side authentication failure, session timeout, or temporary technical issues. If your payment fails, your order will not be confirmed and no amount will be deducted from your account.
However, in some cases, your bank or payment provider may place a temporary hold on the amount (sometimes called an "authorisation hold" or "pending transaction"). This is a standard banking procedure and the held amount is automatically released by your bank within 5 to 7 business days, depending on your bank's internal clearing process. Puroque does not have the ability to expedite this release as it is controlled entirely by your bank.
If you believe your account has been debited but you did not receive an order confirmation from Puroque, please follow these steps:
- Check your bank statement or payment app to confirm whether the deduction is a completed transaction or a temporary pending hold.
- Check your email inbox and spam folder for an order confirmation from Puroque.
- If the amount has been fully debited (not just pending) and you have not received an order confirmation, email us at support@puroque.com with your registered email address, the transaction amount, transaction date and time, and your bank transaction reference number. We will investigate and resolve it within 2 business days.
To retry your order after a payment failure, simply return to puroque.com and place a new order. Your cart items will typically be saved if you are logged in to your account.
EMI Options
Equated Monthly Instalment (EMI) options may be available at checkout for eligible orders through the PayU payment gateway. EMI allows you to split your purchase amount into smaller monthly instalments paid directly to your credit card issuing bank.
EMI availability depends on the following conditions:
- Your credit card must be issued by a participating bank that supports EMI conversion through PayU.
- Your credit card must have sufficient available credit limit to cover the full order amount.
- The order value must meet the minimum amount threshold required for EMI by the respective bank (typically ₹3,000 or more, though this varies by bank).
- EMI options are available on credit cards only. Debit card EMI may also be available from select banks where supported.
Please Note: Interest rates, processing fees, and tenures applicable to EMI payments are set by your card-issuing bank and are not controlled by Puroque. Puroque receives the full order amount upfront from the payment gateway. Any questions about EMI charges, interest, or tenure changes must be directed to your bank. No-cost EMI options, if displayed, are subject to your bank's terms and eligibility criteria.
Currency and International Orders
All transactions on puroque.com are conducted exclusively in Indian Rupees (INR). Puroque currently ships only within India and does not accept orders for international delivery at this time.
International credit or debit cards may be accepted for payment at checkout where supported by PayU India and your card network. However, if your card is issued in a foreign currency, the actual amount charged to your card will depend on the exchange rate applied by your card-issuing bank or payment network at the time of the transaction. Any foreign currency conversion fees or international transaction fees charged by your bank are outside Puroque's control and are your sole responsibility.
We recommend using a domestic Indian payment method (UPI, Indian credit/debit card, or net banking) for the most seamless payment experience without any currency conversion complications.
Payment Disputes and Chargebacks
If you believe an unauthorised charge has been made to your account or you have a dispute regarding a payment made on puroque.com, we strongly encourage you to contact us first at support@puroque.com before raising a chargeback or dispute with your bank. In most cases, we can resolve payment concerns quickly and directly, which is faster and less disruptive than a formal chargeback process.
If you initiate a chargeback with your bank or card network for a legitimate purchase that was delivered as described, Puroque reserves the right to contest the chargeback by providing all relevant evidence including order records, payment confirmation, delivery tracking, and communication logs to the payment gateway and your issuing bank.
Fraudulent Chargebacks: Filing a chargeback for an order that you received and that was delivered as described — with the intent to obtain a refund while retaining the product — constitutes fraud and may be reported to the relevant authorities under the Information Technology Act, 2000, and the Indian Penal Code, 1860.
Legitimate Disputes: If your chargeback claim is valid and arises from a genuine non-delivery, wrong item, or unauthorised transaction, please contact us with full details and we will cooperate fully to resolve it in your favour as quickly as possible.
GST Invoice
A GST-compliant tax invoice will be generated for every order placed on puroque.com and will be emailed to your registered email address along with your order confirmation. The invoice will clearly state the product details, quantity, unit price, applicable GST rate, GST amount, total amount payable, and our GSTIN.
The invoice is issued by Roziyo Trading Private Limited with GSTIN 09AAKCR0819D1ZG and serves as a valid tax document under the CGST Act, 2017. The invoice may also be included as a physical copy in your shipment package.
Business Buyers: If you wish to claim Input Tax Credit (ITC) on your purchase, please ensure you provide your correct GSTIN at the time of checkout. ITC can only be claimed against a valid GST invoice where your GSTIN is correctly mentioned. We are unable to modify invoices after they have been issued, so please verify your GSTIN before placing your order.

Refunds — Payment Method
All approved refunds are issued to the original payment method used at the time of purchase. This ensures that the refund is returned securely to the account from which the payment was made. Below is a summary of refund methods by payment type:

Puroque initiates refunds within 5 to 7 business days of approving your return. The timelines shown above for credit to your account are after initiation and depend on your bank or payment provider's internal processing, which is outside our control. Payment Data and Privacy
Puroque does not store any of your sensitive payment information on our servers. Card numbers, CVV codes, UPI PINs, OTPs, and net banking credentials are handled exclusively by PayU's PCI-DSS Level 1 compliant systems and are never accessible to Puroque.
The only payment-related data retained by Puroque is non-sensitive transactional information such as the payment reference number, order amount, payment method type (e.g., "Credit Card – Visa"), and transaction status. This is used solely for order processing, customer support, refund management, and financial record-keeping as required under Indian accounting and GST laws.
Your payment data is processed and protected in accordance with the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011, and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. Anti-Fraud Measures and Payment Compliance
Puroque, in partnership with PayU India, employs robust fraud detection and prevention mechanisms to protect all customers from unauthorised transactions, identity theft, and payment fraud. These systems monitor all transactions in real time for unusual activity patterns.
In compliance with RBI's guidelines on Payment Aggregators and Payment Gateways (2020), as well as RBI's Master Direction on KYC (Know Your Customer), we may be required to perform additional verification for certain orders. This is a standard risk management measure and is intended to protect both customers and the integrity of our platform.
We reserve the right to refuse, reject, or cancel any order where we reasonably suspect fraudulent activity, misuse of another person's payment details, or any other activity that violates applicable Indian law including the Payment and Settlement Systems Act, 2007, the Prevention of Money Laundering Act, 2002, and the IT Act, 2000.
Phishing Warning: Be vigilant against phishing attempts. Puroque and PayU will never ask for your full card details, OTP, UPI PIN, or banking password through any channel including phone calls, SMS, email, or social media. If you encounter any suspicious communication impersonating Puroque, please report it immediately to support@puroque.com and to the National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal at cybercrime.gov.in.
